studied part time at Syracuse University. passed qualifying exams for PhD in Electrical Engineering. i’ve got a lot of notes for my dissertation around here somewhere.
live in Syracuse, NY in a creaky old house with a bunch of spiders.

Syracuse Research Corp — 1984 to 2001. research engineer and project manager. worked on radar simulation, electromagnetics modeling, graphics programming, high performance computing.
Purplewire — 2001 to present. co-founder and CTO. work on system design, project management, systems and network administration, perl coding, and whatever else needs doing at the moment.
