$25 limit holdem MTT on fulltilt (why am i playing a $25 online tournament? good question!). 2/3 of the field has been eliminated. i limp behind 1 other limper w/ 33 and both blinds call. the flop is 7h7c7s. 1st limper folds. i probably have the best hand and really can’t afford to give a free card, so i bet. only the BB calls. he probably has 2 big cards, but he might have a pair (probably bigger than mine) or a 7 (gulp!). turn is a 2, probably the best card in the deck for me. BB checks, i bet. and he calls. what? river is a 4and he checks again. i don’t know what’s going on, but there isn’t anything he can call with that doesn’t beat me so i (obviously) check. he shows…

so he called the flop and turn with ten high, possibly drawing dead. i swear i’m not making this up. i checked the hand history to make sure there wasn’t a diamond on the flop and a flush draw on turn or something. nope.
